With the implementation of the “double carbon” policy, resource utilization standards have been gradually developed in the disposal of industrial waste. How to effectively dispose of these wastes, so as to reuse resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment, can be done from the following aspects:

1. Reuse and recycling:
Waste textiles can be recycled and used to make new textiles or other related products. By recycling waste textiles, the consumption of raw materials can be reduced and energy and resources can be saved. Some waste textiles can also be sold as second-hand goods at low prices to extend their service life.
2. Energy recovery:
Some textile waste can be converted into energy. Through special processing methods, such as gasification or incineration, waste textiles can be converted into heat and electricity. This method of energy recovery helps reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and can also effectively utilize the organic matter in waste textiles.
3. Make RDF fuel block:
The calorific value of waste textiles is relatively high, up to 4000-5000Kcal/kg. In addition, the purity of the materials meets the needs of back-end users, and it is very popular in the incineration industry. The specific disposal method can be: feeding – primary crushing (industrial waste shredder) – magnetic separation – secondary crushing (single-shaft fine crusher) – briquetting machine, and finally made into RDF fuel blocks.
It needs to be emphasized that the treatment of waste textiles should give priority to reuse and recycling, followed by other utilization methods. Through reasonable management and innovative utilization methods, we can effectively reduce the impact of waste textiles on the environment and achieve the goal of sustainable development.
